In Memory of George...
George's owner, Dana, offered him to Spring Down many years ago as long as she could take him out for trail rides whever she had the time. George, the most gentle and reliable beginner horse at Spring Down, taught many folks, both young and old, to trot and canter. George's canter was the best... very slow, rocky, and comfortable.
George was sent to retire with Dana in December because he had many physical issues which no longer enabled him to be in the Spring Down school horse program. Unfortunately, these issues got worse and could not be resolved, and George has now joined Risky up in heaven... living in greener pastures. |
