Fun Facts: Smokey came to SDEC in February 2007, with the name ‘Mac’. He was broke western, but had a hard time staying sound. He had surgery on left front pastern, in which he now has a screw. He was going to be set out as a lawn ornament at someone’s home, when Carol took him in. She had x-rays done and worked with the vet to get him healthy again. Since then he has not had a problem staying sound!
