Fun Facts: Carol bought Tess as a 4 year old, but the veterinarian advised her of possible future soundness issues. In fact, we had trouble keeping her sound until we discovered a corrective shoe that would keep her sound. All these years later, she is still teaching our riders in their walk/trot lessons. Early in her jumping days, she used to canter around the course with the best rhythmic snort, it helped the riders maintain their rhythm!

*Tess has been retired to a barn in Pescadero with her good friend, Bonita, where both of them will get to spend the rest of their days grazing and relaxing!
