A class designed to introduce the smallest member of your family (ages 2½ years and up) to spend some quality time with mom (or dad) on and around horses. As a group, you'll be introduced to safety, ground manners and get comfortable around horses. We'll teach you all about their special equipment, help you groom and tack up your own horse and ride! Enjoy making horse cookies and learn what horses eat everyday.
Classes for 2010:
Session VI: 9/10, 9/17, 9/24
Session VII: 10/12, 10/19, 10/26
Session VII: 11/1, 11/8, 11/15
Time: 11:30-1:00
NOTE: Riders who sign up through their Park and Recreation departments need to inquire through Park and Rec regarding scheduled time. The Redwood City/San Carlos/Los Altos Park and Rec's Mommy and Me time is 10:00-11:30.
All riders must download the hold harmless form before the first session. The series consist of 3 lessons which last 1.5 hours in length.
